Purchase one or more of the 6” x 8” canvas masterpieces on exhibit at the second annual Tapestry of Art and Music art event on Saturday, May 25, 2024, 1:00-5:00 pm at the Alton Mill Arts Centre in Alton and you automatically get your name entered into the free draw to take home a framed, signed, original, 1/1, silkscreen print titled, “Tour de Force” (1986)by the iconic, Canadian Pop artist Charles Pachter.
Charles’s stunning piece, of high value, depicts a uniquely Canadian image of a moose, rendered in black, standing on the edge of a high diving board as if about to make a stunning Olympic-worthy dive.
To view “Tour de Force”, the prized silk screen print, visit the Headwaters Arts Gallery where it will be on display several days prior to the event.

The draw to win the Pachter print is just one of many reasons to attend Tapestry of Art and Music event. The Tapestry of Art and Music exhibit showcases an immense variety of vibrant art works painted by 100 Ontario artists (including several internationally submitted pieces) who were asked to create works that depict the event’s theme, “A Blend of Sight and Sound”.
The afternoon includes refreshments and musical entertainment by Achill Choral Society and the very talented Vito Loschiavo on classical guitar.
All art works in the Tapestry of Art and Music exhibit are available for sale at $60 each or 2 for $100. The event is free, but a suggested donation of $10 per person is greatly appreciated. Your donation also gets you entered into the free draw.
